Hello, I am  Sherrie Sperling, LCSW,  an upcoming children’s author residing in Woodstock, Georgia. In working with children and families for the past 12 years, I saw the impact of an ADHD diagnosis had on children and their families. 

Fueled for years by a desire to normalize and educate children and parents on ADHD, I joined a writing group and began the process.  

As a member of the Society of Children’s Book writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), I have gained experience, education and support within the community. 

My debut book “This is Me and ADHD” informs readers of the varied emotions and ADHD symptoms of Tommy and Sally.  In addition, the book provides suggestions and resources for parents on ADHD. 
When not writing or working, I enjoy playing a game of chase with my three fur babies. Baxter, 11 year old dog, Gracie, a 17 year old cat and Chloe, a 5 year old cat.
